Question : Hi my brother has hiv from 2 months. When the treatment can start bcoz a Dr told him to start in Dec.is this true that the treatment for this start after 6 month.plc tell us bcoz we are very worried

It depends on CD4 count.

The treatment for HIV depends on clinical stage of the disease and CD4 count of patient. If CD4 count is more than 500 then we can wait for 6 months to repeat the count for further management. For any further query feel free to ask me any time.
