Brief Answer:
Proteinuria may take longer time to revert

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM. Thanks for posting the question.

Proteinuria is common in diabetes, it is due to filtration defect. The medications for proteinuria can revert back the condition in only around 15%. This may take more than 6 months. N acetyl cysteine, taurine, BP medications like losartan etc are commonly used in this condition. You need to monitor the creatinine periodically to check your kidney function. Diabetes is now fairly controlled as HbA1C is 7%.

The role of homeo medications is not well studied. In conditions like diabetes where the long term kidney protection and cardio protection is the goal, you should follow modern medicine where effects and side effects are well studied.
