Brief Answer:
emeregency contraception

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
No there is no need to take another pill again as the emergency contraceptive pill shall be effective for 72 hrs post the pill intake.
No it doesn't work for 10 days instead 3 days the efficacy is the strongest and beyond that chances of failure of pill are higher.
There is nothing to be done at present, just wait and watch for the withdrawal bleed by 6th or 7th dec, once the withdrawal bleeding occurs, it shall indirect conclude that she is pregnancy safe and not pregnant.

Brief Answer:
in that case get a serum beta hcg test after 7th dec

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The pill has nothing to do with the egg, all it does is to increase the tubal motility and progesterone withdrawal to allow shedding of endometrium and hence preventing implantation and hence the pregnancy.
So if she doesn't resume her menses by 6th /7th then you can do a serum beta hcg test to rule out pregnancy. This is a blood test and not the usual urine pregnancy test . If this test is negative then you can safely wait for few more days to allow the menses to return after that naturally, as the negative test shall confirm that she is not pregnant.

Detailed Answer:
If she takes the pill again then the scheduled withdrawal maybe further postponed by anther5-7 days and the cycle may get completely deranged and shall add t further confusion. So just wait for few days and allow the menses to return. Second dose will not help.
