Question : Hi I have been taking zimovane for the last year or so it wasn't subscribed to me I get it from a family member I started taking it as I suffer from depression due to a break up and I nedded something to relax my mind at night,im finding the next day im still tired struggle to get out of bed,and if I don't take it I struggle to sleep and I have a weird sensation in my head im a 23 male

The drug Zimovane (Eszopiclone)is a common sleep medicine but it has no antidepressant property. It may induce sleep but over a period of time it may cause cognitive slowing, reduced concentration, dizziness and confusion.
Secondly it has addiction potential. Apparently you have been habituated to this drug since long and it is time for change. Weakness at morning may be due to depression also.
If you have depressive symptoms as well as poor sleep it is better that you get prescribed an antidepressant medicine with sedative property like Mirtazapine or Trazodone. This will take care of your sleep, depressive symptoms and low energy level. It will help you in recovering from Eszopiclone discontinuation symptoms also.
