Question : How effective is saffron in treating depression. If not, what antidepressant can be used other than Prozac that does not have sexual side effects

Bupropion, mirtazapine.

Saffron alone is not much effective in treating depression. There are not much research studies on this regard.

Antidepressants like bupropion and mirtazapine are free of sexual side effects. As these are prescription drugs, kindly consult your doctor.
