Question : Hi. I have gotten my period in 4 months and the endocrinologist gave me 7 days of progesterone 2 capsules a day 100 mg. I forgot to take 2 the first two days and only took 1 each morning. The 5 days after I took the proper dosage of 2 pills. What I would like to know if because I have 2 leftover now, shall I take them or leave them alone as my week of taking the pills is over.
Brief Answer:
Hello
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
Your endocrinologist has given you progesterone for inducing a withdrawal bleeding.
If you took 5 days properly ( if the last day was yesterday) and has two capsules left, then you can have them today. However, if the last day of taking the pills was more than a day ago, then do not take the remaining pills.
Regards
Binu
