Question : I currently have chicken pox and it has started scabbing. It's almost certain my wife will get it as she has been with me all the time. The plan was for my wife to stay with her parents since they can take care of her better than myself in terms of providing food on time etc. at the same time Her grandfather is really unwell and has very low immunity. he stays separately, but my in laws visit him everyday to cater his needs. will my wife moving into her parents house with chicken pox affect her grandfathers health in a harmful way. I mean will her dad act as a carrier of the virus and affect him. Her dad already has gotten chicken pox before.
Brief Answer:
No

Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic,
If your wife dad has already chickenpox then he cannot get infected and cannot transfer infection to other person.
Hope this is clear.
