Question: Hi doctor I'm 33 years old and now at 8 month pregnancy and my BP levels are fluctuating around 130/88 to 160/103 can u please suggest me if I can take Nicardia retard 10 mg (3 times a day) and Labebet 100 mg (2 times a day).Is both the tablets safe to take at this point of time. Actually my doctor has advised me to document the BP levels for other 2 days if it doesn't come to normal then they have to operate and remove the baby. Please advice me what has to be done at this situation.

Detailed Answer:
hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Yes it is safe to take the tablets as prescribed by your doctor.
In fact, if you do not take the tablets, the BP may uncontrollably shoot up, leading to complications in the baby, as well as dreadful complications for yourself.
Yes, inspite of tablets if the BP is not controlled, the baby should be removed, as it can suffocate inside because of high BP.
IN what city are you located ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
Take salt restricted diet, keep strict tab on the movements of the baby, and sleep in left lateral position.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
