Question : I think i have vaginismus but obviously I am extremely nervous about going to the doctors about it. I have pain during sex internally, and I am terrified at the thought of it so I have not had penetrativd sex for a couple of years. Do you know how it will be diagnosed?

Vaginismus is a clinical diagnosis mainly based on the symptoms. Some amount of pain during penetration is normal due to lack of proper lubrication. A good amount of forelay along using a lubricant like K.Y.jelly may help you.

Pain will disappear after some time, as after regular sex vagina becomes loose.
