Question : I was on the HCG diet taking 250iu. My last injection was Monday at 6am. I think I might be pregnant when will a HPT accurately tell me without the chance of a false positive due to the HCG injections.

Chances of false positivity would continue to remain if you are on HCG diet.

Unfortunately while you are on HCG diet you would continue to get false positive results and since the chances of false positivity remains, you would have to depend on other modes of detection of pregnancy (like ultrasound).

After stopping any external sources, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) falls with a half-life of 24 to 36 hours, until prepregnancy levels are reached.

However, I would prefer waiting for a week.
