Question : I've been off Gemzar infusions two weeks now still feel weak and have side effects. how long before those side effects go away?
Brief Answer:
besides cancer cells, normal cells are also killed due to chemo.
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to Health care magic,
Due to any chemo infusion, besides cancer cells, normal cells are also killed in large numbers.
The body has to re-generate all these lost cells. It has to work extra hard for this. That is why you feel weak.
No time frame can be given.
Meanwhile take a good multi vitamin/miltimineral to help the body. Make sure you take vitamin C (500 mg), zinc 50 mg and Folic acid 5 mg. These are most important.
Please revert back.
