Question : I had my ssg test on saturday 12 dec (11th day of my period) which was quite painful. I dint had any bleeding after that. I was suggested vizylac once a day, roxid 150mg for 5 days along with folic acid. But today on 3rd day, bleeding has started. Is it normal?

Thanks doctor for the reply. I also wanted to know that i have been suggested with metformin: glycomet 500 for pcos. Why metformin is suggested for pcos. And after pregnancy can one still continue to take metformin tablets.

Polycystic ovary (PCO) patients are associated with increased insulin resistance. This increased insulin resistance is countered by Metformin tablets.

Metformin tablets can be continued even during pregnancy.
