Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
How many hours has it been since she started leaking amniotic fluid?
And since how many hours is she in active labor?
What are her findings by the doctor on per vaginal exam?
Is this her first pregnancy?
How many weeks?
Any medical complications?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Well, if the doctors want to wait, there must be a reason.
If you can get her obstetric records, I can go through them.
They would only wait if she is stable and the baby is fine.
Do not worry.
Where is she right now?
