How Long Can One Use Anti-nausea Patch After A Surgery?

default
Posted on Mon, 14 Dec 2015
Question: i had the anti nausea patch following surgery and kept it on for 48 hours. It has been 24 hours since i removed it and my eyes are still dilated. They said not to worry about eye dilation,. but it seems like a long time to last. Is there any danger in waiting for this to end or should i call my doctor. I am very fair and it takes a long time for my eye dilation to stop when i go to the eye doctor for an exam.

Brief Answer:
There is no danger in waiting!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

There is no danger in waiting. Be relaxed and as long as you are able to see without any major difficulties, all will slowly return to normal. With eyes often taking long to return to normal after dilation, this is in support of the same reason why you have not yet returned to normal because the same medications are being used for both conditions.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
