Question : How long would the side effects of Flagyl and/or Cipro last after stopping the drug? Primarily bloating, nausea, insomnia.

When we consider the half life of these agents it is about 7 to 8 hours, by this, for it to be totally out of your body would be about 40 to 48 hours.

So after a last dose, it may take up to 4 days.
