The cholesterol synthesis is a well organized and a very perfectly controlled enzymatic process inside the human body.

Not only fatty meals intake control is necessary but also you have to control the intake of the carbohydrates. Metabolic cross talk between the processes of formation of cholesterol; and the carbohydrate metabolism is very fast and active and body can make denovo-cholesterol from carbohydrates too.

You have to wait from 6-8 weeks for the next blood test for lipid profile to see the effectiveness of your lifestyle modifications in terms of food intake.
