Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your liver enzymes are not very high.
If it is due to alcohol intake it may take 3-6 months to return to baseline after you quit drinking alcohol.
I would like to know whether ultrasound scan of the abdomen was done. If yes, please upload the report.
Regards,
Dr.R.K

Yes it was related to alcohol intake during the Christmas festivities. My worry is the Platelets count which are low. I have not done the ultra sound cause its too expensive.
Brief Answer:
USG scan may be done
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Low platelet count can occur in a number of conditions.
But with history or alcohol intake and liver involvement I want to rule out chronic liver disease.
That is the reason why I asked you to get an ultrasound scan done.
