Brief Answer:
Could be benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Hi!

The possible cause of your symptoms similar to vertigo could be benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

It is usually brought on by specific head positions or movements.

It is caused by calcium deposits in the ear canal that periodically become dislodged and cause symptoms.

The definitive treatment for BPPV requires that crystals causing inflammation in the semicircular canals be moved out of those canals.

I will advise Epley maneuvers in your case which is a procedure where the head is taken through a series of position changes that allow the crystals to be emptied out of the canals.

Discuss the above procedure with your treating physician.

Since it has already been a year you lost your son, grandson and your husband I do not think your symptoms similar to vertigo are due trauma caused by it.

I have had the Epley maneuver many times, and it doesn't work. Can you
think of any other treatment?

Brief Answer:
Cawthorne head exercises

Detailed Answer:
HI

I will advise you cawthorne head exercises or vestibular rehabilitation habituation exercises which are a series of eye and head movements which lead to decreased sensitivity of the nerves within the inner ear and subsequent improvement of vertigo.

Discuss the procedure with your treating physician.

You can also try benzodiazepine group of medications like diazepam for your symptoms similar to vertigo with yur doctors advise.

If you have no more clarifications then please rate the answer and close the thread.
