How Long Do Withdrawal Symptoms Of Solian Last?

Thanks beforehand XXXXXXX
The withdrawal symptoms usually reduce in 4-6 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your problem. Solian is Amisulpiride and Zyprexa is Olanzapine. Amisulpiride and Olanzapine both belongs to anti-psychotic group of drugs. Both have comparable efficacy in treating symptoms of psychosis, in mood stabilisation and in a number of other psychiatric condition. When an individual is asked to taper the doses of Solian it usually takes about 4-6 weeks to become completely withdrawal syndrome free. So unto 4-6 weeks you may see the withdrawal symptoms. But since you have been asked to take Olanzapine instead of Solian so the withdrawal symptoms would be in mild grade and you would start tolerating them once equivalent dose range is achieved.
Olanzapine would start showing its effect in about 4 weeks. Usually individuals taking Olanzapine respond with in 4 weeks of starting the doses. You are taking just 5 mg of Olanzapine and if your symptoms are still persisting then there is need to increase the doses to see better effect. Discuss with your doctor before making any change in your prescription.
Thanks. I hope this helps you. Still if you have more doubts to ask, please ask again.

I understand your answer, thank you very much. I just would like to know: how long it takes to Olanpazine to reach steady plasma concentrations? You mean in your answer that, since i am now on Olanpazine, withdrawal symptoms of Amisulpride are not so severe?
Thanks, XXXXXXX
The withdrawal symptoms would not be so severe
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear XXXXXXX .
In normal situations it takes about 4 weeks to reach steady state plasma concentration by Olanzapine. Yes the withdrawal symptoms should not be severe because you have been advised to take Olanzapine instead of Amisulpiride.
Thanks
