Question: How long does marijuana take to get out of the system for urine text. Person is not over weight and smokes 3-4 puffs only 1 or 2 times per week. Thank you

Half life of marijuana is 28 hours. In chronic users, its 56 hours. Urine for THC-COOH which is a THC metabolite is done. So it entirely depends upon how frequent of a dose is smoked as it accumulates in the body over time so the more its smoked the longer it will stay in the body and hence detected in the urine.

For the above frequency, the urine test will become negative after 9 to 10 days.
