Hello,

mucinex may cause a false positive result for methamphetamines. Your test is several days away though and I suppose that you shouldn't have any problems. Guaifenesin (the active ingredient of mucinex) has a half life of only 1 hour which means that after 6 hours almost all of it is eliminated. It may remain in the urine for longer and I don't know how long it should take for it to not interact with the tests but it sounds reasonable that after a week it won't cross-react.
