How Long Does Niacin Remain In The System?
Question: Do you know how long it takes for a large amount of niacin to get out of a persons system and where can I go to get help for this reaction I already have seen Gastro dr. Where are the big guns and how do I get there?

I live in Valrico, Florida near XXXXXXX I stopped the product March 2nd (went to ER on March 2n with dehydration) and on March 6th went with burning all over body, flushed face, etc. My eyes and mouth are constantly dry and having extreme digestion/colon issues.

Hi, thank you for your response. I feel like you are really trying to help me. My primary care doctor did a lot of blood work and everything came back normal. Also tested negative for parasites.
I was taking Advocare which is not FDA approved here. It is a colon cleanse/weight loss supplements you can google it ( drinks, shakes, supplements) I did the 24 day challenge and on day 15 is when I went to ER. I have since found other people have had reactions as well, these supplements are dangerous! I have had an endoscopy of my stomach and colonoscopy the doctors did biopsy of stomach and colon. I am taking the 60 mg of Dexilant because I had gastritis/burning so bad it was the only drug that stopped the burning. The burning was in my stomach and back, and at first all over my body. I feel like the doctors here do not want to help me, or they are doing all they know to do. I appreciate your advise on my diet. I also took cold medicine while I was on Advocare and fear there may have also been a medicine interaction. I am dealing with dry eyes with drops and mouth with spray. I also have sensations in my arms and legs and sometimes my head mostly after I eat it is awful. Do you think this will stop over time? I sure hope so. I also seen a neurologist for the sensations in my arms and legs and my exam went fine. There is something wrong.
