Brief Answer:
A single dose of percocet is nothing to be worried.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Percocet contains Oxycodon which might have some sedative effect on your baby, but since the due date is 3 weeks from now, it will not be detectable in your baby when born.

Do not worry, your baby will be fine. But make sure not to take the medicine repeatedly as it will have depressive effect on your baby when born making it difficult for your baby to breath immediately after birth, which can become a serious problem.

Consult with your obstetrician if you must take a painkiller. Make sure it does not contain any opioid.

I hope this answers your question, you are welcome to ask me if you have any doubts.

Wishing you good health and safe delivery.

Warm regards

Brief Answer:
Do not panic, it will be alright.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXXXXX

A single dose of Percocet is not a problem and the routine blood tests do not include a test for oxycodone, so relax.

The routine blood tests done in the late pregnancy do not include tests for drugs.

Unless you are required to test for drugs of abuse, these tests are not going to detect Oxycodone you took.

Continue your normal routine water intake, do not drink vinegar, it will not help.

You don't have to do anything extra to remove the drug from your body, it will get excreted by the kidneys within 3 days time completely as the half life is short (around 4 hours). So please calm down.

You can not remove it any faster, so there is no point in trying anything.

I hope it is clear now.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Please do not try anything, by now all the oxycodone is out of your body.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Please do not try to take anything.

The Oxycodone in the percocet you took has already been eliminated by your body.

You do not need to take anything to get it out of your body as there is nothing left to remove.

Please calm down, you are fine and your baby is fine too.

Warm regards

Brief Answer:
I wish you the best. Please calm down and do not take percocet.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXXXXX

Both you and your baby will be fine.

Do not take percocet again and please do not take any other medicine.

I wish you the best and safe delivery.

Warm regards
