Question : Hello. Today is my fourth day of ten on 500mg Cipro for UTI, and although I do feel better, with no burning or bleeding during urination, I find that starting at around sunset into the evening I feel worse and need acetaminophen. Why would this be the case?
And how long during the 10 days on Cipro should I feel back to myself? Thanks.

After reading your post, I would suggest that you should continue with the medicines prescribed by your doctor. It takes about 7 - 10 days for complete recovery. Since you are having some symptoms of UTI, I would advise that you should get your urine examined for routine / microscopic and culture / sensitivity test. This will help to know the causative organisms and whether Ciprofloxacin is appropriate for that infective organism. You can take acetaminophen for relief from your symptoms. Drink lots of water daily. Further medical management can be planned according to the reports of the above mentioned investigation.
