The detection time strictly depends on patients metabolism , body mass index , etc. The other major contributing factor is the method used to detect it. Some labs can detect Xanax for upto three months, however these are the baseline values

urine test test 6 weeks
blood test 5 days
saliva test upto 10 to 15 days
