Brief Answer:
Wait till the doses are increased.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Zoloft is Sertraline and the drug is a SSRI drug. In most individuals the drug takes about 4-6 weeks to show its effects but in some individuals the drug even takes about 12 weeks to show its effects. You have been advised to start the drug with very low doses and the doses are being increased gradually to prevent any side effects considering your age. The doses are very low and this is the reason its taking time to show the effects. Wait till the doses are increased to 100-200 mg per day and then you will see improvement in your symptoms. No need to worry.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
