Question: Hi,

If i have a small external thrombosed hemmerhoid removed by a gp with a small incision, how long will the wound take to heal?

Hi and welcome.Generally it takes 10-14 days for wound to heal but already after3 days,pain should be reduced significantly and wound will close after1 week. you should soften your stool during that time and apply antihemorrhoidal ointment. Wish you good health. Regards
