Question : A Doctor told to my mother that, she is having fungal infection in her mouth. He also told that , she may need to continue medicines for at least 1 year. is it true?

Fungal infections are very difficult to treat. And they take upto a year to treat. Does she have any underlying problems like diabetes, immunocompromise?

No she is not suffering from densities or immunocompramise

That's good, that means once completely treated there is very less chance of the infection recurring.
please make her take the medications for a year.
