Question : Hi Doctor,
I had a Circumcision Surgery done in March 2016. But as more than 1 year completed still there is wounds and cuts over the stitching area. After surgery though I went to a best Urologist with 40 yrs of experience, but in the subsequent visits he told no need to worry give some ointments like bitadine and soframycin ointment to apply over it.
But its itching always and in little pressure again there is a cut and bleeding entire stiching side round.

Seems like fungal infection but I would like to rule out genital herpes

Thank you.
It seems like a yeast infection. I suggest you to take an Oral antifungal e.g Tab. Zocon 150mg once daily for 3 days.
Topically I suggest you to use Candid- B cream, twice daily for a week.
I would also suggest you to take a blood test for genital herpes i.e ELISA for HSV type 1 and 2.
