Brief Answer:
1-3 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank for your query, albeit short.
May I please know a few details:
- Where was/is the bleeding from?
- Was there any procedure done?
- Are you taking medicines properly?
- Any other symptoms that you have at the moment like dizziness, weakness, looking pale or so?

Of the bleeding was from stomach or duodenal ulcer, it may take 1 to 3 days for clearance of the black stool in a patient with normal transit time.
If the patient has diabetic gastroparesis or so, it may take long.
Since the blood is irritating factor for intestinal mucosa, usually the clearance is fast (1 - 3 days).

If this persists more than 3 days, there is a concerned.
This information is on clinical basis and observations.

It needs more than 30 ml of blood for the stool to become black.
I hope this answer helps you.
