Brief Answer:
Yes, go in, don't wait.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Having double vision combined with a headache that is not typical for you should be evaluated promptly. So yes, go in to the ER now.

I don't know how long you have been having double vision, but it is definitely a reason to go in. In the ER they will likely do an MRI of the head.

I welcome you to let me know how you are doing after you have been evaluated.

I was evaluated yesterday by a physician. He thought the vision would correct when my
Bp was under control.
I'm nervous.
My husband is also a physician (family) practice.

Headache 7 days...much stress related
Double vision today is second day...eyes felt full and swollen yesterday...better today..but DC remains.
If I close one eye, its normal.only when both eyes work together, it is double. Upper vision

Brief Answer:
Please go in to be seen.

Detailed Answer:
I am assuming this is not a result of a glasses prescription that is incorrect for you.

I still think you should go in to have an MRI or CT now. Double vision can be the result of many different things, some of which are not serious. But some can be serious and need immediate attention.

If your doctor or your husband had a look in your eyes and didn't see anything abnormal, please go in to the ER where they can do further testing. Double vision, without an obvious cause, needs to be taken seriously.
