Brief Answer:
Anesthesia drugs role is over once the procedure is over..see below..

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I read your message and understood your problem.

General anesthesia is over in the moment you open your eyes after surgery. Anesthesia drugs are short acting drugs. Their effect stops when you stop administering them.

In your case, considering your age I would say that now you may experience some side effects after surgery.
Please tell more regarding any symptom you might have experienced after surgery that you did not had before or something else.

Do not worry about anesthesia. The anesthesia drugs are already cleared off your body. Their role is over. It's true that some of their metabolites can be found in blood and make you feel weak. That is normal 2 days after surgery.

At the end I need you to tell me if you notice something strange or new symptoms in your body after the procedure?

Thank you.
