Question : I broke my ankle four weeks ago and I'm getting the cast off tomorrow. I work as a waitress and I'm wondering how long it will be till I can go back to work

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. After the fracture has united ,it usually takes 2- 3 week time to regain lost ankle joint movement and to have somewhat pain free walking. You may do hot water fomentation and gentle ankle exercises on cast removal.
To help you in a better way ,you may sendthe x-ray pictureif possible.
