Brief Answer:
7 active pills in 7 days till full protection, use condoms till then

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Usually the best way to start pills is on day one of the menses but it is never too late. Innate pills also called placebo pills are for the last week from 22nd day of the pills intake.

In case of full compliance to the medication , it takes 7 days at average to get full protection and that is what doctors advise a concomitant form of contraception till that like condom or emergency contraception. As first few days of cycle are not fertile any ways so that may not be necessary but there is no harm in being on the safer road and use alternate form of contraception for the first week.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Brief Answer:
Yes you can

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back!

You you may enjoy the pleasures on sunday after at least 3 hours after your 7th pill. You may have coitus before that too but you may have to use emergency contraception or condom as well along with primary contraception.

I hope it helps.
