Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. First of all, my sincere apologies about your previous question not being answered, I am sure the administration will try and sort that issue out for you.

Coming to your question, quite honestly there are a number of factors into play that contribute towards estimating the time and safe duration a user can be on medication like oxycodone before getting addicted it like:

+Genetics: Family history of drug dependance
+Tolerance
+Pre-existing mental health issues
+Not taking the medication as prescribed by the doctor
and a few others.

But usually, you can safely take oxycodone if you have no risk factors of dependance for about 3 weeks to a month before becoming dependant on it.

I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Is it normal for the deltoid muscles to be so extremely sore? And is there anything I'm not doing I could try?

Brief Answer:
Nothing really required to be done, gradually increase activity ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

Yes it is normal for the deltoid to be sore and difficult to move for a while. The best thing would be to rest the region for a while, allowing mild and slow movements so you can recover sooner. But do not strain the region, and make sure you slowly and gradually increase your tolerance and physical activity of the region.

Best wishes. :)
