Question : How long does it take to reverse melanosis coli, if all laxatives are stopped immediately? I am in excellent health otherwise, eat mostly vegetarian, and exercise regularly.

There is no exact time frame for the duration required for reversal of melanosis coli after cessation of laxatives. Usually the reversal starts at 6 months and can extend for a variable period.
