Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic,

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

It seems from the history that your sister had undergone retinal surgery with use of nitrous oxide as tamponade.
Nitrous oxide bubble usually takes 2-6 weeks to get absorbed completely.Sometimes it can take upto 3 months to get absorbed completely.

The nitrous oxide bubble will cause visual disturbances when it is present inside the eye and it can few problems like secondary raise of intraocular pressure, hence requires regular follow up with your operating surgeon.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor and attend regular follow up as advised by him.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
