Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
PPE generally manifests between two to fourteen days of infusion, and in the majority of cases, resolves within two weeks at the most.
Only rarely it may persist necessitating delay or reduction in dose of the next cycle.
Any particular reason for you to be concerned about this particular effect?
All the best and prayers for your speedy recovery.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care

I wasn't wanting to tell people about my recurrence, especially my 90 yr old father who would worry himself to no end, but wondering if I would be able to hide this. I'm just wondering how it will effect my quality of life.

Detailed Answer:
I understand and empathize.
But you cannot possibly imagine all possible side effects and aftermaths.
It will impact your quality of life to a considerable extent, on a short term basis ( hopefully ).
Refrain from telling people until you have to, particularly the ones who would take it mightily to heart.
Take care.
