Question : I fractured my left pelvis in two places 11 months ago. It wasn't diagnosed until XXXXXXX I FX my back as well at same time and pain was attributed to spine. Recent CV scan shows only one fracture of pelvis has healed. Is is due to delay in diagnosis? Is there surgical option for pelvis FX that didn't heal?

Hi,

Pelvis fracture are generally treated by allowing them to heal spontaneous while pain is controlled. This is because they are generally undisplaced with a stable pelvis girdle in place. Unless it is unstable, surgery is not recommended. Is it possible to upload the report as well for more evaluation and insights?

In all, continue with the treatment. Surgery is always not a common approach.
