Question : hi doc my wife got stiches on her vigina during pregancy. how long will it take to heal n would the stiches come out of its own.

Stitches on vagina (Epsiotomy sutures) will take 4-6 weeks time to heal. She may have pain for 2-3 weeks

I suggest her to maintain hygiene to avoid infections. Avoid physical stress.
She should clean the area with warm water.
