prognosis and recovery from hip replacement

Detailed Answer:
Hi!

Welcome to health care magic!

I am Dr. Saddiq Ul Abidin. I have read your problem in detail and will try to help you in best way possible.

It would have been more appreciable if you had shared the details for the indication of hip surgery in your cases.

As far as it's success ratio is concerned, it is one of those surgeries which have drastically improved the ability to combat morbidity in patients which have otherwise been limited, or confined to decreased physical activity, so the prospects are hopefully going to be very encouraging.

The complications and failure rate however, are there for every procedure, but if any procedure is being performed, it is because, its success rates weigh more than the risks or failures. So keep your hopes high.

Also that, good analgesics are there to help you tackle with pain and antibiotics for prompt recovery. So you need not to worry about it.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. kindly rate me before closing, and leave your feedback if possible.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ul abidin.

Brief Answer:
recovery time post surgery of hip joint

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for sharing the further details. Normally nowadays early mobility is stressed out even with major procedures, but with involvement of hip, it can delay upto weeks and will start with only mild mobility by physiotherapy and then weight bearing trials and later on trials for walking with support. Gradually after a month or two, person is been able to walk with support at own if no other complication of surgery is observed during this period.

Regards, kindly rate before closing the discussion.
