Question : hi doctor

my wife pregnant 6 weeks and confirmed by local doctor, actually we not planned for it so v need abortion and she used unwanted kit which contains 5 tablets ( mifepristone & misoprostal) vaginally and orally still the bleeding not yet started.

so please help us for that,

I have gone through your query and understand your apprehension. Most often the bleeding occurs within 10 hours of taking these medicines although it may sometimes take as long as 15 days and these medicines are quite effective too. It is very hard to comment on the present status without a careful gynecological examination but I doubt if there is anything to panic. I would suggest you to visit a doctor and get her evaluated and end your apprehension.
