Question : I took only ONE dose (8mg) of Suboxone film strip at noon yesterday (Wednesday). I have NOT taken any more than that one single dose, and I am not going to take any more of it. MY QUESTION: How long would that ONE dose of Suboxone stay in my system (even an approximation would be helpful). Thank you so much!

The single dose of Suboxone that you took can be expected to stay in your body up to 11 days. I am explaining the rationale behind the figure. A study was conducted where radio-labelled buprenorphine was used. It took 11 days for the complete recovery of radiolabel from the urine and feces. Going by this, you can expect your body to be free from Suboxone in around 11 days.
