Brief Answer:
endodontic flare up, missed canal, high points, retreatment

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the pian in the root canal treated tooth is concerned, i have the following possibilitues. it can be because of the root canal flare up but this occurs immediately following root canal treatment. Since you have pain even after placing crown, it might be because of improperly treated tooth or missed canals. The other possible cause can be high point in the newly placed crown.
Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to take a radiograph to confirm the diagnosis. If there is a defect in the previous root canal treatment then it has to be retreated. If it is a root canal flare up it comes down in 3 days after taking a course of antibiotics. if it is because of the high points then it can be reduced by grinding the crown.
Instead of taking antibiotics repeatedly, consult a oral physician or endodontics and get it evaluated.
I hope that I have answered your question. If any queries are there reply me back. Take care.
