Question : Hi, i started menstruating on 13th last month. My period lasts 3 days and I'm on a regular 26-28 days cycle. I had sex with my boyfriend on 19th and 20th. I took an ipill on 20th night. We used a condom and had sex on 21st but the condom broke. I figured I didn't need another pill.
On 29th and 30th, I bled lightly, thick clotting darker blood for sometime followed by thin bright red blood.
I normally start getting slight abdominal pain few days before my period which is due in a day. But that hasn't happened. Should I be worried about being pregnant? I'm not sure if the pill protected from the next day's sex

                                    Brief Answer:
Pill will not protect you from next day sex.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
One and most important thing is that I - pill will not protect you from next day pregnancy.
So the chances of pregnancy are there in your case.
Bleeding can be due to a side effect of I-pill due to hormonal imbalance.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Regards

Was the timing of my cycle one susceptible to the chances of pregnancy being high? I don't think I was ovulating but the sperm can survive for long. Wouldn't the ipill from the previous day have ensure delayed ovulation?
Also, I have some thick milky white odorless discharge since the past two three days. And very slight pangs of pain in lower abdomen (different from pre menstrual pains). Are these symptoms?
How soon can I take a home pregnancy test that is likely to be accurate?

No it will not protect.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay.
Yes, you are on your fertile day( 9th day) because you are having 26-28 days cycle.
Yes sperm can survive for 5-7 days .
Yes, I-pill pill can delay ovulation.
White color discharge can be a side effect of I-pill pill, can be due to infection or can be a symptom of early pregnancy.
Usually a home urine pregnancy test to be done 7 days after your missed period date to avoid false negative.
You can go for beta hcg blood testing to confirm pregnancy as early as 12-14 days after conception.
Hope found useful.

                                    Thank you, that's very helpful.
One last thing- my boyfriend and I engage in anal sex using a vibrator. We was it with water before we put it in the other's anus. We never use it in my vagina. Is there chance of infection from anus to anus as well?
Thanks in advance.
