Question : Hi I have been taking duphaston for 2 weeks after my first iui (10 july) I was advised to take Hpt after 2 weeks. Now the case is its negative also no periods. Shall I continue duphaston or wait for few more days.

Please confirm if it's your urine pregnancy test that is negative. I suggest you continue Duphaston for another week. if still negative it is best to talk to your treating doctor.

Thank you doc. Yes it's home pregnancy test is negative Just a query will duphaston will delay my periods if I m not pregnant

Hi,

Yes, it can postpone periods. In your case, your doctor has given Duphaston to continue the pregnancy. Check with your treating doctor as UPT is negative if you have to continue. Once you stop Duphaston you will get period by 5 to 7 days.
