Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
PCOD is a condition with baseline hormonal imbalance.
In this condition, ovulation is erratic and periods are hence unpredictable.
If you are overweight, please lose weight.
Myotol F is only a supplement.
Sometimes, some women with PCOD continue having irregular cycles, as there is no absolute cure for this condition.
Metformin can be added to regulate cycles.
Cyclical hormones such as progesterone will help to make periods regular.
In addition to the scan, it is essential to have blood tests - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, SHBG, DHEAS, Free testosterone.
This would suggest if additional medications are needed.
For conception, please go for cycles of follicular monitoring.
This involves tracking growth of egg follicle with serial ultrasound scans.
This way ovulation is confirmed and you can then try for conception.
IF 3 - 6 cycles of follicular monitoring fail, you can then go for laparoscopy to check if the fallopian tubes are open or closed.
Meanwhile, get your husband's semen analysis done.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
