Question : If I start micronor mid cycle - well, a week after my period has finished - how long do I need to use backup contraception for?

Micronor is a type of oral contraceptive.
It's advantage is that if pregnancy excluded then it can be started from any time of menstrual cycle.
In your case you should take additional contraceptive precaution for 48 hrs. after starting micronor.
