Question : I was diagnosed with shingles on 1/8. been off work due to pain and fatigue. rash getting better. advil helping pain. still fatigued. should I continue to rest or push to resume normal activities and regain strength?

Usually, the recovery time for shingles will last up to 3 weeks. I am happy that the rash is getting better. I am also sorry to hear that you are still fatigued. At this point, I advise to wait for a few more days until returning to normal daily activities.

Continue taking the medications as prescribed by your doctor.

Herbal supplementation like Echinacea are also advised to speed up the healing process.
