How Long Should One Wait To Try Again After A Miscarriage?

Question: Dear Doctor,
My wife had her first miscarriage and we did a D&C on 23rd august 2016. For trying for another baby how many months gap should we give? Some are saying to try after 2 periods some are saying after 3 periods. should we give 2 periods or 3 periods gap?
